Pageant Information

Depot Stage    7 PM

Categories of competition include:

Personal Interview, Festival Promotion, Evening Gown, and On-Stage/Fishbowl Question.

Personal Interview with the judges and mandatory rehearsal are held on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Salem Depot from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

 

The stage competition is held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 7:00pm. Queen entry fee is $125.00 and is paid on this page.

Additionally, all contestants must electronically submit a completed application, copy of birth certificate, and color photograph via online registration by September 14, 2024.
 

Queen Pageant contestant must be a single woman, 16 years of age by October 3, 2024, and not have turned 22 on or before January 1, 2025. Contestant must have never been married, not currently be pregnant, never bore a child, and been born a female. The Queen’s competition is open statewide, to include residents from anywhere within the state of West Virginia.

 

All contestants may sell advertisements (not required) for the Salem Apple Butter Festival Pageant Program Booklet. These ad sales may serve as the sponsorship for entry fees. The deadline for ad and money submission to the Pageant Planning Committee is August 1, 2024.

The page size for the booklet is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2. Ads are full-color and prices are as follows:

1/4 Page Ad $75.00;

1/2 Page Ad $100.00;

Full Page Ad $150.00.
