MANDATORY Pageant Rehearsal & Personal Interview with Judges

Saturday, September 27,  2025 

Salem Depot      

12:00 noon -4:00pm.

1. Personal Interview with the judges, Festival Promotion,  Evening Gown and On-Stage Fish Bowl Question.

2. All contestants must electronically submit a completed application, copy of birth certificate, and color photograph via online registration by September 13, 2025.

3. Teen contestants must pay a $100.00 entrance fee. . All contestants must return the completed application form, fee, birth certificate copy and color photograph by October 1, 2024.

4. Teen Pageant contestants must be a single woman, be 13 years of age by the day of the pageant but not older than 15 by the day of the pageant. The Teen Pageant is open statewide to include contestants from anywhere within the state of West Virginia, or a resident student therein. Contestant must have never been married, not be pregnant, never bore a child and been born female.

5. All contestants may (no requirement) sell advertisements for the Salem Apple Butter Festival Pageant Program Booklet, ad sales may serve as the sponsorship for entry fees. The deadline for ad copy and money to be turned in to the Pageant Planning Committee is August 1, 2025. The page size for the booklet is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2. Ad prices are as follows:
