The Apple Butter Festival is partnering with Fort New Salem to bring Irish Road Bowling as a September to Remember Event. This sport was played by Irish soldiers during the civil war.

 

The course starts at Salem City Hall and ends at Fort New Salem.

Registration is $20 per individual or $75 for a team of 4. It includes a Hot Dog Special from the Apple Butter Lunch Box and general admission to tour Fort New Salem.

Teams can be of 2, 3 or 4. Individual participants will be placed on a team

 

Trophies awarded to the top three teams.

1 pm Registration Opens near Salem City Hall

1 pm Fort New Salem Gates open for tours

1:30 pm Bowling Competition Starts

3 pm Bowling concludes (estimate)

3 pm Dinner at Fort New Salem

4 pm Fort New Salem Closes
